Manage and Deliver "Quality Content" Online

Content is key to educational programming. The key to quality online educational coursework is the ease of content creation, management, access and distribution.

WebStorium, an online content repository is included in the licensing of the WebStudy CMS. It stores all content materials for use by one or multiple sections, courses or departments for online learning and online classroom applications.

The instructor and the institution can improve quality with broadening their content repository with interactive video segments that can be re-used.

Content may be digitized and delivered through our software product, CourseStream. The CourseStream software provides the added feature of bookmarking. You may identify start and end times to create a smaller video segment. After viewing the entire episode, the instructor can now use the smaller segments in group discussions, team presentations, test or quizzes.

This approach to integrating content into an online course adds significant value. The learner gets to access or repeat key points of the video content after viewing it in it’s entirety, with a targeted instructional purpose in mind.

If you've created your own custom content, you may digitize it yourself or you may select to have WebStudy Inc. digitize your content for both dialup and broadband delivery, for captioning and text readers, and organized in episodes

Custom content may be created and archived using CourseLive. You can create a live interactive online segment or ‘teachable moment’ and re-use it in the classroom or in future semesters for interactive online courses.

In combining CourseStream and CourseLive capabilities, the instructor and the institution can begin to broaden their content repository with interactive video segments that can be re-used.
