WebCouncil
CoVision, with 15 years of providing corporate and civic clients with
innovative solutions to effective group communication, has now made its service
offer available to higher education through WebStudy's suite of educational
technology
products-n-services!
Collaborative decision-making, consensus building and participatory governance are institutional practices that are time-honored and sacred in higher education.
Truth be told, they are also time-consuming, and without dedicated and appropriate management, they can sometimes result in less than efficient protocols.
Process + Facilitation + Software = Results Achieved
WebCouncil offers everything you need to conduct meetings and conferences among geographically dispersed participants. Our facilitators provide consensus-building expertise and ease the interaction among principals and stakeholders through inventive encouragement of large group dialog and interaction.
Your institution's travel costs are greatly reduced, and we help to deliver solutions professionally and efficiently.
Service Features
A WebCouncil facilitator will work with your team to establish a process and facilitate group discussions choosing from 11 different web-based communication tools, such as survey, sorting, brainstorming, flipchart, idea gathering, document library, email notification, etc.
The WebCouncil event (virtual or F2F) builds sustainable group decisions.
How?
The process and the facilitator gets everyone involved in a dialogue toward solutions, instead of sitting as passive members in an audience. The selected agenda call for everyone to respond with ‘creative’ ideas through the use of a groupware software system, and shortly they hear what the whole room is thinking. You may select and use any combination for group communication to:
- Forward an Initiative
- Gain Consensus on a Solution to a Problem
Depending on your needs and practices, you can rely on WebCouncil on a continuing or a fixed-term basis.
